The 2007 Mexico Trading Summit will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Mexico City, on October 29-30, 2007. The invitation-only event, sponsored jointly by TradeStation Securities, Bloomberg, and Thomson Financial, will bring together over 200 of Mexico's leading buy-side executives, buy-side traders, proprietary traders, portfolio managers, and hedge fund managers. The various asset classes will be discussed, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, and Currencies.
The event will begin on Monday, October 29, with a presentation by Tom DeMark, his first in Latin America. Tom Demark has been a special advisor to Steve Cohen at SAC Capital for the past 10 years. Prior to SAC Capital, Mr. DeMark has worked with Paul Tudor Jones at Tudor Capital, Soros Fund Management, Omega Advisors, and other large successful investment funds.
Mr. DeMark has created a suite of market timing techniques, known as "DeMark Indicators" that investment professionals regard as the standard for evaluating trading and investment opportunities.
On Tuesday, October 30, Bell Curve Trading's Bill Strazullo will share his views on the markets, and introduce proprietary research on EWW, the Mexico ETF. Mr. Strazzullo was previously the Chief Trading Strategist for Equities and Fixed Income at State Street Corporation, the world's leading provider of financial services to institutional investors. Before joining State Street, Mr. Strazzullo was a proprietary trader of interest rates and currencies with The Long-term Credit Bank of Japan.
