DAY ONE

BIO: Tom DeMark has been special advisor to Steve Cohen at SAC Capital for the past 10 years. He was formerly Executive Vice President of Tudor, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund, fund partner with Van Hoisington, a multi-billion dollar bond manager, market advisor and consultant to Goldman Sachs, George Soros, IBM, Union Carbide, JP Morgan, CitiBank, Atlantic Richfield, State of Illinois, Loews Corp (Tisch family) MMM, State of Illinois, Omega Advisors, among many other large and successful investment funds.

Mr. DeMark has been involved in billion dollar pension and profit sharing fund management, as well as futures’ fund management with legendary and largest Chicago Board of Trade Treasury bond pit floor trader Charlie DiFrancesca.

He has created a suite of market timing techniques that investment professionals regard as the standard for evaluating trading and investing opportunities. His work appears on most all data suppliers and quote services. His platinum service resides only on Bloomberg and his new exclusive “Cursor Commentary/TDRS” services are only available on Bloomberg. Its content and display are technologically state of the art and its informational and educational aspects are one of a kind.

He has written three best selling books and his research has been featured in many investment publications. He has been keynote and featured speaker at many financial and investment conferences and seminars throughout the world, has appeared often on international financial television and has written and been the subject of many articles on trading techniques in many countries.

Roderick Bentley

BIO: Roderick is a 10-year veteran of Bloomberg, LP. For the past 7 years, he has studied, developed, and presented the DeMark Indicators, at times speaking on Tom DeMark's behalf. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Roderick spent 6 years, with top secret clearance, working in advanced electronics for the US Navy. He is one of the foremost authorities on the methodology of DeMark Indicators in the United States.

6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Keynote Speaker BILL STRAZZULLO

BIO: Bill Strazzullo is a globally recognized market strategist and trader with more than 15 years of experience across all major asset classes. He was a top proprietary trader in the New York branch of one of the world’s largest multinational banks. He has worked for Salomon Bros., JP Morgan, PaineWebber, The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, and State Street Corp. He finished in the top 10%, (6% on a risk-adjusted basis), in the CTA Star Search, a global trading competition for professional investors.

Mr. Strazzullo is a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg and the Canadian Business News Network. He has been interviewed numerous times by the AP, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. He is a resident “Market Pro” on TheStreet.com.

Mr. Strazzullo holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Brown University and a MBA from Harvard Business School. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Market Technician (CMT).


 

7:15 PM to 8:15 PM Bell Curve Strategies Work Shop Joe Musolino and George Flynn

Joe Musolino

BIO: Joe has developed his unique Bell Curve analytical system for over 20 years and he is the founder of the Bell Curve Trading financial newsletter. Joe spent the majority of his career at Tullett & Tokyo, a firm specializing in institutional financial futures, where he established his reputation in the New York, London and Tokyo markets both through the distribution of his daily letters, and his always popular training seminars that utilize live markets to teach the Bell Curve methodology. Before joining Tullett Joe utilized his Bell Curve Trading techniques by starting his own hedge fund and prior to that trading repo’s, futures and cash fixed income products as a Vice President at Barclays Plc.


George Flynn

BIO : George has been involved in exchange traded products for over 20 years. The majority of his career was spent with Tullett & Tokyo Futures, a firm specializing in institutional financial futures, where he was the Global Managing Director. With offices in New York, Chicago, London and Singapore, George’s responsibilities included oversight of trading, sales, clearing, and floor operations on the principal global financial futures exchanges.
Prior to Tullett & Tokyo George served as Executive Vice President of Rouse Woodstock, Inc., and President of Lewis & Peat Futures, Inc.

George has been a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange and the New York Board of Trade. He is a former Board member of the Institute for Financial Markets and has led and participated in many Futures Industry panels throughout his career.
